Build real sales skills this summer

Mage Networks is hiring local sales representatives to help neighbours access a better local internet option.This is an active, community-based role. You will work flexible shifts, speak with residents, introduce Mage Networks, answer questions, record follow up actions, and help local households assess their internet options.

No sales experience is required. We provide training, scripts, maps, customer materials, and team support.

What you will do

• Speak with residents in assigned local areas
• Start conversations and explain Mage Networks clearly
• Identify customer needs and handle common questions
• Record outreach and follow up in Mage’s customer system
• Help identify potential relay host locations
• Represent Mage professionally in the community

What you will build

This role develops practical sales skills that transfer to future roles in business, customer success, account management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.You will learn how to:

• Start conversations confidently
• Handle objections
• Follow up consistently
• Use a customer relationship management system
• Understand how local businesses win customers

Pay and incentives 

• $22 per hour
• $150 for each installed customer
• $250 for each installed customer after your fifth installed customer in a campaign month
• $75 for each approved relay host that becomes usable
• $100 monthly bonus for clean customer notes and follow up

What we are looking for

• You must live in, study in, work in, or have a real connection to the local area.
• You should be comfortable speaking with people, working independently, being outdoors, and following a clear process.
• You must have valid driving license and a vehicle to commute.
• You do not need previous sales experience.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
